David joined BDO’s SR&ED practice after over 15 years in the software development industry, in various roles from hands-on software developer through to R&D departmental director. He has experience in various software development methodologies from traditional waterfall to multi-team distributed Agile. His interests include change leadership in complex organizations, process improvement (especially involving technology), team building, and innovative continuous improvement. David has experience in a variety of industries, including both software product and IT consulting, mobile gaming, information security, asset management, natural resources, manufacturing, banking, and public safety & law enforcement.
Jason Neale, PhD, MBA

Dr. Jason Neale is a serial entrepreneur and has a driven edge for starting new ventures, turning around struggling companies, developing novel technology and managing fast growing opportunities. Jason has direct experience of raising Government funding and equity (approximately $150 million), business turnarounds, winning major contracts ($100+ million) and the sale of technology companies, in part or whole.
